Ownership Opportunities

Emily is currently searching for people passionate about horses, her journey, or the sport of eventing who are interested in becoming an owner of an event horse!

Ownership opportunities come in a variety of forms, from being the outright owner of a horse to being a syndicate member that owns a share or shares of a horse or group of horses. Emily is also always eager to partner with those who already own a talented horse or prospect. We hope you will consider joining us on what is sure to be an incredible journey.

About Syndication

Horse ownership syndication is when a group of people come together to purchase shares in a promising horse for a professional Event rider. These shares not only cover the initial expense of purchasing the horse, but also the annual expenses of maintaining the horse. For example, if you join a horse ownership syndication that offers 10 shares, then you and nine other people will own that Event horse and help cover the expenses of maintaining your horse on an annual basis.

These costs are predetermined and are distributed evenly between each share in the syndicate! Each syndication is unique, meaning that both the initial share price and the annual expenses for maintaining an Event horse can vary greatly. Annual upkeep costs can be paid as a 100% tax-deductible donation, made through the American Horse Trials Foundation.

Emily is currently looking for owners who are interested in purchasing new horses, and is also available to take rides for existing owners. Counter Point

Counter Point, or "Count" as he is known in the barn, is a 2011 OTTB (Off Track Thoroughbred*).
Although Emily has been riding nearly her entire life, Count is the first horse she has ever personally owned. In spite of only owning him for a few years, he holds a very special place in her heart; quirky strong-willed personality and all!
Even though he is on the rather small side for an event horse, Count is extremely athletic, and certainly thinks he is the biggest stud in the barn!

Count retired from upper level competition in 2015 and now enjoys teaching up and coming riders the ropes at the lower levels.
